Sexism in the City: What’s the real deal?

Collecting data on behaviour in the City can’t be easy at the best of times. When it’s data designed to explore and uncover potentially sexist attitudes, you need to be deft if you’re to tiptoe across this particular minefield.

Britain’s charity The Fawcett Society is well-positioned to do so: established in 1866 and dedicated to closing the inequality gap between men and women’s access to power, money and justice, the Fawcett Society has asked us to ask you to tell them about your experience of working in the City as a woman.

On the basis that time spent in reconnaissance is never wasted, we welcome any initiative that attempts to clarify the real picture of what the workplace is like for our readers.
See below for the email link if you would like to describe your experiences:

Confidential: Anything you tell us will be kept strictly confidential. It will be used to inform a new campaign we are setting up to deliver positive change for women in the City. If you would like to discuss the issue of confidentiality further before you share your experiences, please contact Kat Banyard at the Fawcett Society using the details above.
