Nicki founded Evolved People in 2007 with the flagship career website The Glass Hammer.
The mission of this product was and still is, to provide professional women to get the best executive coaching and advice to advance in their careers and develop as leaders while sharing and reading success stories of others.
Over the past fifteen years Nicki has consulted many leading financial services firms and Fortune 1000 on organizational and leadership development. She has coached many senior executives of both genders around leadership behaviors, career advancement, executive presence and what it means to be a change leader.
Whether it is about creating change from an organizational or one person’s perspective, Nicki believes that coaching is the best way to help people achieve their goals and live their values. Nicki also understands the systemic and structural enablers that create or hinder personal and team performance and can work with the individual in context of their specific environment, and works to connect strategy and organizational goals with structure, processes and behaviors.
Nicki has a Masters in Individual and Organizational Psychology with a specialization in Change Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York and is a graduate of the Columbia Coaching Certification Program. She is certified by the International Coach Federation at PCC level. She also has two business degrees from Manchester, England and La Universidad de Murcia in Spain, the latter undertaken entirely in Spanish. She is certified in the Hogan Assessment Suite, Everything Disc and the Five Behaviors assessments. She is qualified in “Immunity to change” maps for executives and teams and has worked with most coaching instruments such as LSI, 360 multi-rater, MBTI, NBI, ESCI and Firo-B.
Prior to running The Glass Hammer, Nicki moved to the USA in 2004 to spearhead the US launch of www.eFinancialCareers.com part of the Financial News Group. She had previously worked in London in the launch team of the newspaper, Financial News which was acquired by Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal. Nicki, as US Managing Director and Board member of efinancialcareers was part of the management team that sold the business to Dice in 2006 for $77 million dollars, the highest amount ever attained in the sale of a job board. She is a serial entrepreneur.
Nicki coaches in her native English but also coaches in Spanish and works in person in New York City/Tri-state area and on video with clients from different parts of the US and the UK.
