Are you a woman working in law, finance or business who wants to have her voice heard? Maybe you have read some of our articles and felt inspired — or outraged, as the case may be.
If you have something to say, we want to hear it. From writing your own blog postings to responding to our articles on work/life balance, rising stars in corporate America, voices of experience of senior women in law and finance, up to the minute news, or unique passions or interests that appeal to our readers, we want your input.
As The Glass Hammer grows, the publisher and editorial staff envision the site as an online community for women in law, business or finance to come together, communicate with each other, sound off and be heard by a broader audience. We believe in strength in numbers.
So, send us your blog postings on any subject that you think our readers might enjoy (keep in mind that we aim for a professional female audience, both in the US and in major financial centers abroad).
Try to keep your pieces 800-1000 words in length. An informal yet tight and professional blog style works well for us, read up on some past TGH posts to get a sense of our style. Humor is always a plus, but we don’t publish pieces containing profanity.
Please send any submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org and cc Bailey@theglasshammer.com, along with your name (or pseudonym) and an email address to contact you. We’ll be in touch to let you know if your piece will run, and then look for it on our site.
Feel free to email the link to your friends and colleagues and encourage them to comment, in order to foster dialogue among like-minded women.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
